Now, what to do?
For my benefit, I’ve always been curious about what is available in the alternative world, including alternative therapies. I’ve tried a lot of them throughout the years and will keep trying more in the hopes that I might improve my body, mind, and soul. And so it is.
The lesson is to keep trying until you discover something that will work for you since, as I am aware, what could work for me might not work for someone else.
I’ve been informed several times that they’ve done everything. Everything what? You could count on one hand what it ultimately came down to. It’s good to keep looking because you could discover that by meeting new friends (I have) and learning practical skills for your “self-healing” toolkit, your world opens up in the most spectacular way.
So what should I do when I’ve come to a fork in the road and need guidance or healing?
I’ve included below five fundamental ideas that have boosted my spirits and, with practise, will do the same for you:
1. Meditation!
One of the best self-healing techniques is meditation, which you may use for free in exchange for a little of your time. There are several meditation methods available; choose one that works for you and start using it.
You may calm your spirit and re-establish contact with your best self by playing some meditation music and spending some time in peaceful reflection.
2. Essential oils and aromatherapy
Use an aromatherapy oil burner to combine a variety of essential oils to restore and revitalize your spirit. When there is a need for loving, support, or healing, I’ve discovered that the following combination works quite well:
Pour a few drops of the following in an aromatherapy oil burner with some water about an hour before going to bed (for safety’s sake, put out the flame before turning out the lights for the night).
1. Jasmine 4 drops
2. 4 Rose drops
3. Neroli 4 drops
4. Three lavender drops
5. Bergamot 3 drops
the wonderful aroma! I occasionally use this one and, in addition to sleeping like a baby, worry and tension vanish. The next morning, I felt like the entire world’s weight has been lifted off my shoulders! (If your bedroom is tiny, you might want to cut the number of droplets in half.)
3. Breathe!
Step out with your feet shoulder distance apart. Utilize the diaphragm muscles to breathe slowly and deeply three times. Inhale via your nose, and exhale through your slightly opened lips. Imagine while you perform them that your own strength is filling every cell in your body, from the bottom of your diaphragm to the peak of your head.
Become your own personal power and see yourself grow taller, straighter, and stronger. Repeat the earlier stages.
4. Live in the Now
Take a few deep breaths and concentrate entirely on this very second.
Focus entirely on the words you’re reading, whether it’s a book, magazine, or even this post, and absorb their meaning. In the now, all that exists is you and this article.
If you’re at work, concentrate solely on the task at hand, nothing else, and what has to be done to do it. Everything is focused on you and the work at hand.
5. Make a Decision
I make my intentions clear while I’m searching for something novel and practical for me.
For instance, I may look for a book that would inform me and point me in the direction of another form of healing or expertise. I then reflect on this purpose, give it a deadline, and finally, let it into my heart. I’ll soon be holding a book in my hands, I tell you! I adore the power of intention, and when I go shopping, I also utilize it to find a parking spot.
Nowadays, I don’t get ill very often, and when I do, the doctors tell me I’m actually in pretty good health (surely they can discover anything so I can get some compassion around here!). This also contains the outcomes of blood tests.
I still handle melancholy and dissatisfaction well (I’m still human), but neither of those emotions lasts as long as they used to. A tranquil state endures much longer.
My soul soars and life once more becomes more serene and joyous when I use the five guidelines listed above.
